West Coast rap legend Snoop Dogg finally received an achievement that’s long overdue— a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Many gathered around to pay respect to Uncle Snoop and his iconic career, including Pharrell, Dr. Dre and Quincy Jones. When it was time for his acceptance speech, the "Doggystyle" emcee gave a riveting tribute to the one person he owed his success to... himself.
The Long Beach native hilariously continued: “I want to thank me for believing in me. I want to thank me for doing all this hard work, for having no days off, for never quitting, for always being a giver and trying to give more than I receive, for trying to do more right than wrong.” To top it all off, here’s how he ended his speech. “I want to thank me for just being me at all times. Snoop Dogg, you a bad motherf*cker.”
