Kanye West is back on the internet’s naughty list for the umpteenth time this year and right in the midst of music’s end-of-the-year wrap-up windstorm.

Steeping his 2018 political controversy into his latest on-wax output, the GOOD Music founder became the chosen one for late Miami rapper XXXTentacion’s forthcoming Skins album. ‘Ye is no stranger to controversy, so the sheer idea of a Kanye feature on X’s highly-anticipated posthumous project should come as no surprise to most fans. His words on the track, reportedly titled “One Minute,” did however. And given X’s past with Kanye’s touchy subject matter, fans are slamming the cancel button on their keyboards for Mr. West yet again.

  1. On the track, Kanye West lyricizes his take on sexual assault victimhood

“She wanna give you the cookie, you Famous-amous,” he raps. “She gave you the p**sy, but you ain’t pay for the anus/ Now your name is tainted, by the claims they painting/ The defendant is guilty, no one blames the plaintiff/ Gotta say it in Layman’s terms, while you wait on arraignments/ Cause if the jury say you did it, the payment is heinous.”

  2. Despite the bars taking a clear narrative-driven stance on sexual assault…

Genius reported that their source who’s “close to the situation” revealed that Ye was not, in fact, “defending XXX or referencing anyone in particular.”

  3. The internet, on the other hand, wasn’t quite buying that one…
