Cardi B And City Girls Were Blasted By This White Singer For The Lack Of 'Diversity' In 'Twerk'
Rising Miami-bred phenoms City Girls took the internet by storm this past Wednesday (Jan. 16) when they dropped their (probably) NSFW "Twerk" visual featuring Bronx femcee Cardi B. The 3-minute video is an extension of their twerk challenge from last year, where Yung Miami and JT allowed fans to submit videos of their best moves. The top 20 "got flewed out" for a chance to see who would walk away with a $25,000 cash prize.
While most of us were still adjusting our wigs, searching for the edges they snatched, and enjoying the brief nostalgia of watching BET Uncut in present day, a twerk instructor and singer by the name of Lexy Panterra crept out from the depths of the internet with a question.
The since-deleted tweet inquired about the lack of white women in the "Twerk" video
The caucacity of Lexy's question riled up Black Twitter with the answers she desperately was seeking
Lexy tried to claim that she wasn't being racist with these tweets...
Whew... bow out gracefully, Lexy; you don't want this smoke.
