R. Kelly Just Pulled This Move In Light Of Criticism Against Erykah Badu

Yeah...we saw that.

Published January 22nd

With the resurfaced hailstorm of sexual predator allegations and recent legal hiccups crumbling the decades-long R&B empire of shamed Chicago singer R. Kelly, the 52-year-old has apparently still found time to log into Twitter.

Apparently, not to tweet, but to keep an eye out on the conversations of the Twitterverse surrounding his fall to disgrace. The latest buzz encompassing the controversy arrived in the form of Erykah Badu backlash after the neo-soulstress was whipped with a wave of concert and internet resistance alike for her Pied Piper prayers that she urged the masses to join in on. Fat Belly Bella has since clarified her commentary from the performance, which some felt was that of an R. Kelly apologist, insisting that she never did or would defend his wrongdoings.

Meanwhile, R. Kelly took everyone else’s interpretation of her defense… and ran with it.

The Chocolate Factory singer has indeed been scrolling through the timeline and his own mentions. After all, how else would he have spotted Yahoo!’s article stating “Erykah defended reportedly defended @rkelly at a concert and fans aren’t happy” on Sunday (January 20)?

  2. But not so fast, Kellz…

Because according to Erykah's update sentiments, that's not at all the case.

  3. And in light of some of today's news...
