More outlandish moments from R. Kelly’s CBS This Morning catastrophe are making viral waves on the internet leading up to Friday night’s (March 8) full release of the interview.

In one of the latest clips, Gayle King delves into Kelly’s monetary controversy, asking him what exactly his financial situation at the moment is. Before having another meltdown, Kelly explained that he was completely ignorant of his finances up until three weeks ago. From there, the waterworks ensue, and Kelly goes off into another tearful tirade about his ex-wife, Andrea Kelly, and his relationship with his children.

  1. ‘So many people have been stealing my money, people was connected to my account,’ he said of his finances…

“I went by myself for the first time to the Bank of America. Didn’t know what I was doing. Didn’t know what the hell was going on.” Kelly claims the reason for the visit was because he’s so tired of being ignorant to where his money is. As for the suspicion that his funds have all dried up due to settlement payments, Kelly claims that’s a lie, and his bank teller revealed that several people had access to his account.

“I have like $350,000 in the bank and I told her, take that and I wanna start a new account. She said it’s gonna take six to seven business days to clear.”

  2. Kelly, who’s currently back behind bars for an outstanding balance on failed child support payments, also spoke to that situation…

“How can I pay child support?” he insisted. “How? If my ex-wife is destroying my name and I can’t work? How can I work? How can I get paid? How can I take care of my kids?” At this point, Kelly had become so visibly distressed that other people in the room, along with King, attempted to calm him. When she asked for a tissue for Kelly, whose face was doused in tears, he even said he wanted to leave. It’s then that he took a sharp left into Drea’s domestic abuse allegations. He starts by explaining the beginnings of their former marital union, recalling a romantic marriage proposal where he flew in on a jet with a puppy in hand to pop the question.

  3. Kelly claimed that he ‘loves Drea to death,’ but the abuse allegations are totally false

Not to mention, he contended, he doesn’t know how to hogtie people—one of the hostage tactics Drea said he used during the abuse. “What kind of woman would tear down a dad who’s trying to have a relationship with their kids?” Kelly bawled. Despite his daughter Joann Kelly (a.k.a. Buku) explaining in a January statement that that she and her siblings have been distanced from him for years, Kelly claimed to be in love with his kids, but has “zero” relationship with them.

According to King, Drea and her team have declined to comment on his statements at the time.
