Diddy's Former Collaborator Drops Savage Shots In This New Diss Track

"Some people will try to use their status and oppress others. Especially their own kind!"

Hip-hop’s historic powerhouse Bad Boy Records harbored a handful of New York’s most landmarking rap talents, hitmaking producers, and trailblazing discographies, including that of the late legend Notorious B.I.G.

The Bad Boy squad also delivered some of the culture’s treasured hits with a bevy of talented pen masters behind them such as the 1997 Biggie tribute “I’ll Be Missing You.” Years later, one of the label’s previous collaborators and writer Sauce Money has a bit of a scorned history with such records, and more namely, the Bad Boy founder himself, Diddy, after what he considers to be some double-dealing. For that, he’s taken not only to social media, but a Diddy diss track to voice his frustrations with it all.

  • After dropping the ‘Love Tap’ track, Sauce furthered his sentiments on Instagram

He clarified that it’s not about money or any push to fame that prompted such an address to the situation, but rather “treating people with respect and doing things the right way is all I’m concerned with,” he wrote. “Some people will try to use their status and oppress others. Especially their own kind!”

He also dropped a note about how to make industry deals, urging people to ensure their slice of the pie is cut before anything else.

  • The track itself takes a more aggressive tone…

“Shoulda flamed your a** in ’06, did the drugs make you forget, who it was that wrote your biggest hit?” Sauce Money spits. He also name-drops Jay-Z, another hip-hop mogul who worked rather closely with Puff in his Bad Boy prime, who he says “should’ve told [Diddy] this can’t be debated.”

Puff has not responded to the claims made in the social media posts nor diss track, but you can hear all of them in the track below.
