Drake And Ariana Grande's Instagram Move Has Fans Suspecting A Collaboration

Could this mean what we think it means?

Who else is here for team #Aubriana?

According to fan speculation, it appears that an Aubrey Graham and Ariana Grande collab could be in the works.

Earlier, fans of both Drake and Ariana began to suspect that the artists had something musical brewing after a tit-for-tat game of "following" took place on their respective social media accounts.

Here's how it went down:

  • First Drake followed Ariana, then Scooter Braun (Ariana's manager) followed Drake, followed by a follow back from Ariana. Did you follow that?

  • Afterward, the official Twitter of Young Money retweeted Pop Crave's tweet of a possible duet, further heightening fan theories:

  • Of course fans of both artists immediately reacted, dubbing Drake and Ari the "Prince of Hip-Hop" and the "Princess of Pop," while predicting a number-one hit.

  • The prospective musical duo already make a great team. Aside from sharing initials, both Drake and Ariana are no strangers to cross-genre collaborations. Not only has Ariana hopped on a track with nearly every hip-hop star from Nicki Minaj to 2 Chainz, Drake has also gotten together with the likes of Justin Beiber and Rihanna.

Last year, the "Scorpion" rapper even made a posthumous record with Michael Jackson before pulling it from his tour last month following controversy.

In the meantime, neither Drake nor Ari's camps have confirmed a joint project. So it looks like fans will just have to wait to see - or hear - what happens next.
