Gearing up for her latest silver screen venture, Hustlers, Jennifer Lopez dropped in on the world’s most dangerous morning show, The Breakfast Club, with Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee and DJ Envy.
Lopez dished on all things new, like her engagement to MLB All-Star Alex Rodriguez, and a few things old, like her relationship with Bad Boy Records mogul and former flame, Diddy. The Hollywood A-listers dated in the late ‘90s for roughly two and a half years. Over a decade removed from each other after the split and their relationship seemingly remained amicable as both Jenny and Sean moved on to new relationships. But let J.Lo tell it, and the two were just puppy-loving. Now that she and A-Rod are well on their way to tying the knot, the baseball star is making sure everyone knows Jenny From the Block is off the market, including Puff, who recently made his flirty Instagram pass at her.
Charlamagne pointed out that she used to date a well-known industry hustler back in the day, "Mr. Can’t Stop Won’t Stop." Initially confused at the moniker before he name-dropped Diddy, J.Lo agreed that he was, indeed, a hustler. But their short-lived relationship was just a “boyfriend and girlfriend” thing when they were much younger. In fact, she said, she never even lived with him, and the relationship was so long ago and on such a lower scale, making it incomparable to her current soon-to-be matrimony.
She wanted to let everyone know that he did write A-Rod afterward to apologize and clear things up. Jenny recalled Puff’s sentiments that he didn’t mean anything by the move and was elated and respectful of their new life partnership. However, she commented, A-Rod’s a “crazy Dominican,” so it came as no surprise to her that he popped up in the comments after Puff’s pass.
