Cardi B was forced to postpone several of her upcoming shows and one of those knocked off the schedule was El Paso, Texas.
While many of the Bronx rapper’s West Texas fans were disappointed, a local TV reporter took the opportunity to bring Bartier Bardi to life outside the scheduled venue.
Keenan Willard of KFOX 14 filled his live shot with numerous Cardi B references, dropping signature phrase “okurrr” before name-dropping some of her biggest hits like “I Like It,” “Money” and her Bruno Mars-assisted “Finesse.”
Willard also quoted a line from “MotorSport,” borrowing a part of Quavo’s verse from the track, saying, “Motorsport, yeah, put that thing in sport.” He later took to Twitter to explain himself.
“I saw my chance and I took it,” he tweeted. “How many @iamcardib references can you spot in my story from tonight?”
Suffice to say, the tweet and his news report went viral. Check out some of the reactions to it below.
