Lil Nas X Dropped Another Remix Of ‘Old Town Road’ Featuring Young Thug – And The Internet Is All The Way Here For It

The Yeehaw agenda continues.

We’re living in a world were Lil Nas X’s infectious country-trap tune “Old Town Road” holds the No. 1 spot atop Billboard for the 14th week in a row and inches ever closer to snatching R&B goddess Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men's record for longest single to hold the top position. Now, the hit song is going viral, again. The 20-year-old rapper surprised fans with a new redux of the infectious hit on Friday (July 12).

  • The original track blew up after Billy Ray Cyrus hopped on the track, which propelled Lil Nas to the front line of the rap game. The song has continued to break records and cinched the title for the most streamed song of the year. Many would take the rest of the year off after achieving so much, but Lil Nas is not taking his Wrangler boots off our necks anytime soon.

  • The latest version of the track is a remix of the Billy Ray Cyrus-assisted edition. Trapstar Young Thug and Mason Ramsey, who you might recognize as the little boy who went viral for yodeling at Walmart, join Lil Nas and Billy Ray to put their own spin on the record.

This is a full-circle moment for Lil Nas X, who credited Thugger as helping pioneer country-trap in an interview with TIME back in April.

  • Thugger comes in after Lil Nas on the third verse while young Ramsey holds it down in the final bars of the 2-minute-long track. The two rap about rolling around in Maseratis and an electric Razor scooter. The horses are still in the back.

The internet is all the way here for the latest redux of the country-trap tune. Listen to the remix and check out the internet’s reactions below.
