Detroit native Kash Doll isn’t one known to mince words nor back down when it comes to throwing a few verbal blows. But the femcee melted a few hearts after she penned an astonishing confession on Twitter Wednesday (Sept. 11) that no one was expecting. In a series of tweets, the “Ice Me Out” rapper wrote a heartfelt apology to Lil Kim following a recent reconciliation between the two.
Kash didn’t go into too much detail about what went down between her and Kim, but the 27-year-old recalled a moment where she nearly let someone get in her head and pit her against the rap icon.
“I was in my feelings about some sh*t someone I was working with told me,” Kash admitted. “She said I couldn't go on tour with her. Lil Kim didn’t event know.”
However, upon meeting the Queen Bee in person for the first time, Kash realized that the Hardcore rapper harbored no ill feelings.
“She was so G about it! Hugged me and embraced me,” Kim gushed. “Listen, you’re too talented for that. I love learning sh*t from OGs!! @LilKim Thank u for everything! You’re truly an icon, love.”
Shortly after, Lil Kim stepped on Twitter to represent a united front, penning her appreciation to Kash for taking the high road.
“In life we make mistakes and bad decisions sometimes but it’s how that woman fixes it is what defines her,” the rap maven penned. “I asked at @Kashdoll to fix it publicly so I can support her publicly and she kept her word. @kashdoll u r a true queen for that I respect u even more.”
“Thank u for accepting my apology!!” Kash responded. “I’m so grateful, Kim. You don’t understand!!!”
Kim also wrote, “u have always Been a hustling get money fly a** bitch wit skills , u r a go getta & I love that about u I always rooted for u even still & i always wanted 2 support u plus u 4rm one of my fav places. Real recognize real & last night we had a real moment Love u queen @kashdoll.”
