In an interview with W Magazine earlier this year, Frank Ocean alluded to what his new music may sound like. And on the latest episode of blonded, the New Orleans crooner gave fans even more insight into how that new sound is taking shape

  1. “I’ve been interested in club, and the many different iterations of nightlife for music and songs,”  he told the publication in September. “And so the things I look at now have a lot to do with those scenes: Detroit, Chicago, techno, house, French electronic.”

  2. Ocean has since been previewing tracks through his newly resurrected Apple Music radio show. He previously premiered the single “DHL” on the show’s seventh episode last month. On Sunday (Nov. 3), Ocean unveiled another official single, “In My Room,” during blonded’s latest episode. Ahead of the track’s debut, the singer also surprised fans with an Arca remix of another single called “Little Demon.”

  3. The track, which features grime star Skepta, was first heard at the Halloween edition of Ocean’s New York PrEP+ party. “Little Demon” hasn’t been officially released yet, although unofficial clips are up on YouTube. Both songs are currently available as vinyl pre-orders on Ocean’s website.
