As one of Hollywood’s most vocal couples, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend took their relationship up against a lie detector test with Vanity Fair to test just how well they truly know each other.

  1. From their number-one pet peeves to who's brought home the most embarrassing award, the questions presented them with an opportunity to dig out the truth about lesser-known facts between each other. Specifically, John used the opportunity to get Teigen’s honest opinion on his music while he had her in the hot seat.

“You’ve said before that you do not like my song ‘Green Light,’ he began. “Is that my only song that you don’t like?” Chrissy immediately confirmed that the critically acclaimed song, which went on to be nominated for a Grammy in 2008, was definitely on her list of  least favorites.

  2. “You know it’s not that good of a song. You even said it’s kind of a little radio-ish and not you,” she responded to her husband’s surprise. He didn’t agree with these thoughts.

  3. “What? I love that song. It’s amazing. Listen to it, I encourage you,” he countered. Undeterred, Teigen playfully ribbed on Legend some more. She quipped back, “The worst is when it’s just you doing it on the piano. I was like, ‘Can this get any worse?’ And then it could.”

  4. “She just doesn’t like the lyrics,” Legend concluded before the lie detector test operator confirmed that his wife was, in fact, telling the truth. It’s not the first time Teigen has been open for her dislike for the song.

  5. In 2018, she admitted the song brought back sour memories of “a jealousy-fueled meltdown” she had on set during the filming of the music video.

On the song’s 10th anniversary, the supermodel revealed that she got upset with some friends who were also present at the shoot teasing her over John posing with other models. Fed up, Teigen, who was 22 at the time, ended up leaving the set early in tears.

  6. “Looking back and knowing how well I know them now, THEY WERE DEFINITELY RILING ME UP AND GETTING A KICK OUT OF IT,” she tweeted.

  7. Watch the hilarious 25-minute clip below to see them hash it out over the track and find out the one thing Teigen did that got Legend into trouble with his parents.
