Irv Gotti Jokingly Says He Pulled Gun On Daughter’s Boyfriend During Sex Talk
After Atlanta rap artist T.I. received backlash amid his revelation that he accompanies his daughter to the gynecologist to have her hymen checked, Irv Gotti now reveals that he’s also taken rather bold parenting approaches.
When speaking with TMZ, Gotti revealed that he created a two-way dialogue with his daughter and her boyfriend while they spoke about sex and even used an accessory to help further his point.
“The last thing we want is to think our daughter is going to be with guys like us, it’s common to think that,” he told the outlet, additionally revealing that he pulled a gun out on him as a joke. Gotti added that his daughter has been dating her boyfriend for eight years. “I told her boyfriend, always be respectful,” he said.
Remaining transparent and open with his kids is the way that he moves through their relationship, he added. Gotti left a word of advice for all fathers with daughters: “It’s going to happen, swallow the pill. [And] just accept it and love and trust your daughter [that] she will make the right decisions.”
The Murder Inc. executive arrives as the second public voice to speak about the controversy following Jeannie Mai. The Real co-host said that because she was a “very wild girl” in her youth, she rebelled a lot, and thus supports T.I. and his concern as a parent. In the same vein as Tip, Jeannie also caught a major blowback from the commentary as well.
