Ohio rap star Trippie Redd has found himself in hot water with Tupac fans after he posted a photo of the legendary hip-hop icon that many fans found distasteful.

  1. Trippie is no stranger to butting heads with fans over his pranks, but some feel that the Ohio native might’ve taken his trolling too far with the photo reminiscent of Pac’s last moments.

Last week, the 20-year-old took to Instagram where he posted an obviously photoshopped picture of himself riding in a car with the late rap legend. The original image was taken on the fateful night in Las Vegas back in 1996 where Pac was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting. The original also includes former Death Row Records CEO Suge Knight in the driver’s seat, whom Trippie photoshopped his face over.

  2. There was no caption on the post, and while his fans had their fun in his comments, others did not hold the same sentiments and called on Trippie to pull down the photo. “You still have time to delete this...do the right thing,” one commentator urged in the IG post’s comments section. The Twitterverse was not as kind in their assessment. “He needs to be canceled lol,” one person tweeted.

“This disrespectful to Pac honestly,” another voiced. “Trippie wouldn’t even be rapping if Pac was here,” another weighed in.

  3. Thus far, Redd has not responded to fans’ criticism. The image is still up on his IG and has garnered 725,000 likes since the time of its posting.
