Rihanna had a sweet surprise for her fans for the second week of March.
On Friday (Mar. 6), the fashion and beauty mogul unveiled a new venture with TikTok: a Fenty Beauty House.
The Barbadian multihyphenate held a launch party for her Fenty beauty brand’s new mascara product at the newly-opened location. Billed as a hub for content creators, the space came with a fully stocked make-up pantry, beauty stations and tons of natural light specifically for TikTok users to create their own beauty-focused content with “Fenty Beauty spotlighting their creative excellence along the way,” according to a press release obtained by Harper’s Bazaar.
The beauty brand posted a clip of the affair on social media where Rih celebrated the beauty house’s opening.
“We are standing in the official first Fenty Beauty TikTok home,” Rih said before those gathered at the launch party. “I just wanted to create a platform for the next wave of content creators. I think our generation is the sickest, the illest, the most creative. I can't do it alone, so to join in with the people who are influencing the world, my community, and my generation, this is a hub.”
Thus far, the only location that has been unveiled is in Los Angeles. Fenty Beauty has already chosen its first set of housemates to experience Fenty Beauty House as well, and plenty of clips from inside the space have been uploaded to TikTok, giving others a peek inside.
