50 Cent Pulled Up To Another Burger King And Gave Away $30K To Employees
50 Cent may be the king of pettiness but the rapper has his moments of generosity, too.
Everyone has been feeling the pressures of the coronavirus pandemic on the economy and, on September 8, the rap mogul and Power co-creator connected with social media influencer and entrepreneur Jay Mazini for a special surprise for employees at a Burger King in his hometown of Queens, New York. In videos posted to both of their Instagram pages, the two men pulled up in the location’s drive-through where they gave away more than $30,000.
It appears Fif was still in a giving mood this week. On Tuesday (September 15), he and Mazini linked up once again for a second round.
“I posted the sign they put up in my hood so [Jay] was like let’s do it again so we did it,” Fif wrote on Instagram along with a three-minute video of the good deed..
The video starts with Mazini standing at the drive-through window. He waves for an employee to come over. “I gotta tell you something real quick,” he said. He continues, “How is everything, you guys good?” before he asks how many people work at the location and has them all come to where he is. Fif suddenly comes onto the screen, shocking the unsuspecting employees.
“What’s taking them so long?” he joked. “Everybody who works here, comes to the front.” Little else needs to be said as they all rush to meet the notorious rap figure. Now that they have their full attention, Fif and Mazini pull out large wads of cash and start out small stacks to each employee. Everyone is experiencing a full range of emotions as they whip out their cell phones to record the encounter. “We’re just showing love to the workers so God Bless you guys,” Mazini said, which was met with a chorus of “Thank yous.”
Their generosity didn’t end there. Fif walked down the line of cars behind them in drive-through handing out cash to customers in their cars waiting to place orders. One woman broke down in tears over the kind gesture.“I TOLD [50 CENT] WE HAVE TO SHOW LOVE ONE MORE TIME. CALLED FIF TODAY, TOLD HIM, “50, I’VE BEEN SEEING NOTHIN BUT GOOD KARMA, WE NEED TO KEEP SHOWIN LOVE WITH PURE INTENTIONS”.. HE TOLD ME “JAY I JUST LANDED, WYA, I’M DOWN, LETS GO TO ANOTHER [BURGER KING]” Mazini wrote on Instagram following the interaction. ”PASSED ABOUT ANOTHER $30,000 TO THE STAFF, GOD BLESS!!! LOVE YOU FIF. GOD BLESS ALL THESE PANDEMIC WORKERS, WE JUST TRYNA SHOW LOVE.”
Later, Fif returned to Instagram of a message from the employees at the Burger King. The sign at the location had been changed to read, “Thank you 50 Cent for supporting our workers in our community.”
“This s**t is so cool @jaymazini is gonna see this and fall out,” Fif captioned the image. “if you don’t believe in good karma you will never understand this.”
