Hip Hop Awards ‘20: Big Sean And Jhené Aiko Turn Up The Temperature With Sensual “Body Language” Performance
Big Sean, Ty Dolla $ign and Jhené Aiko took to the stage during the 2020 BET Hip Hop Awards for their first-ever live performance of “Body Language.”
Together, the chart-topping artists gave romantic date night vibes, as the set opened up with Sean and Jhene in a luxurious bedroom suite. Sean appeared in a slightly unbuttoned mustard yellow silk blouse and matching cream-colored trousers while Jhene donned a similar ensemble.
“Don't just take your clothes off, take the problems off / Take the armor off, take all the drama off / Let go of your responsibilities you been holding' down / Know it's a lot on your mind, but I need your focus now,” the Detroit MC rapped. “I need that focus, yeah / I give you that, yeah”
Jhene then joined her collaborator by taking over the chorus and, as she moved toward Sean, their chemistry was undeniable. Afterward, the set transitioned to Ty Dolla $ign, who appeared to be a third-wheel to their vibe, came through with the vocals.
Then the cameras cut over to Sean and Jhene — who continued their bedroom flirtations and teasing, fittingly for the sensual record. The ambience of the mood was further set by the steamy atmosphere. A panel of screens, or “window,” showcased a forest of trees ablaze, casting the room in a red glow. The performance ended with Sean and Jhene seemingly sharing a kiss in bed.
Their chemistry was palpable enough through the screen as fans and viewers alike were feeling the scorching intensity of its heat.
“The genuine chemistry Jhene and Sean have…lordttt,” one person commented on Twitter.
“Big Sean and Jhene are a WHOLE MOOD! Like Wow!”” a second user added.
A third chimed in, “Is it hot in here or is it just me? Damn Jhene Aiko and Big Sean's chemistry is [fire.]
