Megan Thee Stallion, Tinder To Give Away $1 Million For Daters To Share Their Worlds
The original Hot Girl is joining Tinder to reward her most authentic Hotties through a global “Put Yourself Out There Challenge” that is doling out $1 million.
"I want everyone to be comfortable sharing their authentic self online,” Megan Thee Stallion said in a press statement, according to Billboard. “That’s why I’m partnering with Tinder to give away $1 million to celebrate the people who are putting themselves out there in a real way. By celebrating those who are already doing the hard work, we want to encourage more people to feel confident in who they are."
The challenge comes after a recent Tinder study revealed that 57 percent of the dating app’s users want to show more of their authentic selves. It apparently inspired them to work with the H-Town Hottie in order for users to receive a confidence boost.
The #PYOTChallenge encourages users to submit new profiles showing themselves with more genuinely and creatively. 100 lucky contestants will get the chance to win $10,000 each, for a total of $1 million, to pursue their passions.
"It’s been a challenging year, but we still see our members showing up with their next-level humor, creativity and honesty in their bios,” said Nicole Parlapiano, vice president of marketing North America at Tinder. “For those who are having a harder time putting themselves out there, we want to give them an extra boost of confidence and that’s why we’re bringing some of the most important voices in culture to help support them."
She added: "I’m so thrilled to be partnering with Megan Thee Stallion, one of the hottest stars on the planet, to launch the #PYOTChallenge. Her career is a testament to where putting yourself out there can take you."
Participants must be 18 years or older and reside in the U.S. and Canada (except Quebec). To find out more, click here for the official contest rules.
