Odd Man Out

It's no fun being a hip hop pariah.

Odd Man Out - Rappers have always found strength in numbers. Someone's got to be your hypeman, hold your contraband, or, if they're lucky, be signed to your vanity label. That's why crews have been an integral part of hip hop culture since the beginning. A rapper without a crew is an orphan in a cold, cold industry. That's why everyone held their breath when Pill started tweeting recklessly about his crew, Rick Ross' Maybach Music Group, last week, complaining about his lack of exposure. Would Rawse respond by kicking the promising ATL MC to the curb? We hope not—Pill certainly doesn't want to end up like other music exiles.
