R&B megastar R. Kelly will be opening up his life at a bookstore near you as he prepares to have his tell-all published.
The memoir, titled Soulacoaster, is tentatively scheduled to be released this year. Kelly says: "I'm writing this book as Robert, not R. Kelly. I'm tired of being misunderstood. I will show you the tears, fears and sweat. I will open my heart and reveal the good in my life as well as all the drama. I want to tell it like it is."
Three years after the soul singer was found not guilty of 14 counts of child pornography, he released the gold-selling LP Love Letter.
Written with the assistance of celebrity biographer David Ritz, Soulacoaster will be “part memoir, part keepsake.”
