Prince Says Whitney Houston Is Welcomed for Eternity

Concert ban on the rehabbing singer is lifted.

According to TMZ, Prince has made it clear that Whitney Houston isn’t blacklisted from his performances, and he has told fans “she’s always welcome 4 all of eternity.” We previously reported that the 47-year-old Houston was told not to attend anymore of Prince’s shows after she appeared “intoxicated” at every concert she attended.

The ban was confirmed with several sources connected to the tour. But Wednesday, Prince's manager released a statement “welcoming Houston to come back whenever she wants ... insisting the singer enjoys having Houston in his audience.”

A source close to Prince added, "Someone could have taken it upon themselves to say Whitney was banned ... but it did not come from Prince. Whoever decided Whitney was banned, did not have the authority to do so."

Earlier this week, Houston entered herself into rehab for alcohol and drug abuse.
