Anyone who knows Jamie Foxx knows his mantra is “life is a party.” Well that may be tenfold this 4th of July when the actor/comedian teams with Caesars Entertainment for a star-studded weekend bash in Atlantic City.

“I’m very excited to be working with Caesars Entertainment… to bring great music and a lot of laughs as we celebrate the birth of our nation,” Foxx told BET.com.

The reason for such a jam, besides it being a holiday? “I have been known to party a tad bit,” Foxx explained, “so why not.”

The multi-day music/comedy affair—from July 1 to July 4th — will include concerts, comedy performances and after-parties. To kick off the festivities,  Foxx will host the Foxxhole Comedy Jam featuring such star comedians as Earthquake, Arie Spears and Tony Roberts. The Grammy-winning Foxx will also headline a concert at the House of Blues Music Hall at Showboat.
