So just how do you carve up the riches and accolades earned by a storied boxing career when a marriage ends? Don’t ask Sugar Shane Mosley. Details of his divorce settlement reveal life just got a little less sweet for the champion.

According to TMZ Mosley’s ex-wife, Jin, will “maintain custody and control of three championship belts.” The document outlines that they will be held by Jin for their three minor children and that each of the offspring will receive a belt when they turn 18 years of age.

And thanks to California’s community property rules (the state where the divorced was filed), Jin also gets half of Sugar Shane’s fight purses during their marriage and half of Shane’s cut of profits from all the videotape and DVD sales of his biggest bouts including his matchup against Oscar De La Hoya.

The 40-year-old welterweight king revealed on his official website that he will continue to fight professionally for the next five years. Lucky for him by that time Mosley will be just boxing for one.
