Michael Vick Reaches Out to Nate Dogg's Son

Michael Vick Reaches Out to Nate Dogg's Son. The Eagles quarterback continues to do good by inspiring.

Michael Vick may have had problems with dogs just a few years ago but when it comes to Nate Dogg’s son, he’s full of compassion.

TMZ reports the late rapper’s son Naijiel Hale made contact with the quarterback after being entered into a Vick giveaway contest by his mother. The budding football star, who plays at his high school near Los Angeles, actually received a personal response via email from his favorite athlete.

Remembering Nate Dogg, his son tells Vick, "Its been a hard year with my dad passing." After giving his condolences, the Eagles star writes optimistically, “Glad to see you're being strong and keep achieving."

Nate Dogg died on March 15, 2011 at the age of 41 as a result of complications of multiple strokes.
