Rihanna and Joan Rivers Feud Via Twitter

The legendary comedian blasts RiRi for admitting she still loves Chris Brown.

The Twitter wars have just gone intergenerational, and now Rihanna has found herself in a battle with comedian Joan Rivers.

After the 23-year-old pop princess’ tearful admission to Oprah Winfrey that Chris Brown was the love of her life, Rivers immediately took to Twitter to serve up her opinion.

“Rihanna confessed to Oprah Winfrey that she still loves Chris Brown. Idiot! Now it’s MY turn to slap her,” Rivers tweeted.

Never one to back down from a Twitter battle, Rihanna allegedly responded twice to the 79-year-old comedian. First indirectly with the high road Biblical response photo of Proverbs 15:4 entitled “Control Your Speech.” The passages, “For we all often stumble and fall and offend in many things…” and  “If your mouth is out of control, other areas of your life will also be out of control” were highlighted.

Then the “Birthday Cake” singer lashed back more directly at Rivers with the terse reply, “Wow, you really do get slow when you’re old huh?” Rihanna deleted that message but later wrote, “Slap on some diapers,” and kept that comment up.

But it was Rivers who had the last word with, “Honey, everyone knows: if he hits you once, he’ll hit you again. Read the statistics. PS — Would love to have you on Fashion Police!”

Maybe RiRi should take Joan up on her offer and end this feud once and for all.
