The cast of one highly-anticipated Black film just got a little bigger.

Shadow and Act is reporting that the big screen adaption of erotic fiction novel Addicted just added two new stars to its cast — Emayatzy Corinealdi and Tyson Beckford.

The film, based on Zane’s popular novel, already has a star-packed ensemble cast: Sharon Leal, Tasha Smith and Boris Kodjoe. Addicted tells the story of a sex addicted professional woman (Leal) and her therapist (Smith). Directed by Billie Woodruff, the movie is currently filming in Atlanta.

No word yet on who Corinealdi and Beckford will play in the cast.

Actors Danny Glover and Derek Luke will be headed behind bars for their upcoming drama. The two will star in the 3D prison feature Long Day Journey, which documents the true-life story of musician Phil Driscoll, who was imprisoned for tax evasion, according to the American Film Market. The film will chronicle Driscoll’s life as a trumpet player, singer and composer who loses everything he values when he is sent to prison.

Driscoll will star as himself in the movie and Glover and Luke co-star as prison inmates who show him how to survive in jail.

Veteran actor Glover also doubles as a vocalist on the movie’s soundtrack, singing the film’s title track. is your #1 source for Black celebrity news, photos, exclusive videos and all the latest in the world of hip hop and R&B music.
