Marriage was in the air for one actor and a pro-baller this past weekend. People.com is reporting that Donald Faison married longtime fiancée Cacee Cobb on Saturday. The pair wed at his former Scrubs costar Zach Braff’s home in Los Angeles.
Faison and Cobb, who dated for six years, were engaged in August 2011. The couple shared both their engagement news and wedding planning via Twitter. Wedding attendees included bridesmaid Jessica Simpson and her sister Ashlee Simpson. This marks the first marriage for Cobb and the second marriage for Faison. The Exes star was previously married to Lisa Askey, with whom he shares three children. Faison also has a son from a previous relationship.
Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs got his weekend started right by marrying his ladylove Candace Williams on Friday, according to TMZ. The couple hosted intimate nuptials for 30 people at a Four Seasons Hotel in Maryland. The pair’s two children, family and close friends were present. Reportedly, the duo is planning a bigger wedding celebration, with a guest list closer to 100-plus people, after the NFL season ends.
It hasn’t always been a picture-perfect romance between the pair. Williams just lifted a protective order against Suggs three days ago. The bride claimed that Suggs punched her in the neck last month and dragged her alongside a car he was driving. Unfortunately, their children were also present for the attack. They sat inside the moving vehicle during the incident.
