Former adult film star CoCo Brown is training for a space expedition. No, that's not the premise for an upcoming skin flick. The retired pornographic film star, who has appeared in over 40 such films, may soon be orbiting the planet in a space suit. Brown is currently in training for the flight, for which she's paying over $100,000, in the Netherlands. If successful, Brown will be one of the first private citizens to shuttle out of Earth's orbit and only the fourth Black woman in space.
Brown, known on-screen as "Honey Love," claims she is one of the most downloaded stars of the adult entertainment industry. The 34-year-old retired from adult films nearly ten years ago, though is still active on her website. She is now working on a memoir and various "motivational projects."
The media personality began training for her flight in 2012. Lift-off will take place on the island of Curaçao in March 2015.
