Olivia Pope has been going through a rough patch on Scandal, but Gladiators will soon get to see a lighter side of Kerry Washington on the big screen. The Emmy-nominated actress has signed on to play the lead in a new romantic comedy by The Best Man director Malcolm D. Lee called Is He the reports.

Washington will play a bride getting ready for her wedding and reflecting on the three major relationships in her life. Audiences will only find out at the end of the film, when she gets to the end of the aisle, which man she ends up marrying.

Meanwhile, RZA's Hollywood takeover continues with a role opposite Anna Kendrick and Sam Rockwell in Mr. Right. The action-romcom tells the story of a woman whose unlucky streak in love seemingly ends when she meets the perfect guy — who turns out to be a hitman. RZA will play Shotgun Steve, an expert marksman who works for a rival gangster.

The Wu-Tang Clan frontman recently wrapped roles in G.I. Joe 2 and television's Gang Related, and is working on a sequel to his 2012 directorial debut, The Man With the Iron Fists. is your #1 source for Black celebrity news, photos, exclusive videos and all the latest in the world of hip hop and R&B music.
