Tasha Smith and Zane on Their Addictions

The Addicted star on her vices; plus, Boris Kodjoe.

Published October 8, 2014

Addicted is this fall's sexiest new thriller, and the stars of the film are not shy to share their own views about sex, vice and addiction. We sat down with Boris Kodjoe and Tasha Smith to talk about the demons from their pasts and whether or not you can have it all.

"I used to love drugs," Smith says candidly. "It was a long time ago, but that was my addiction." Kodjoe, who has been happily married to Nicole Ari Parker for 10 years, admits that he doesn't know a person can have everything — love, money, sex — at the same time. "Maybe you can have one out of three, or two out of three at the same time, but having it all is tough," he says.

Plus, we talk to Zane, the author of the bestselling novel on which Addicted is based, about why audiences should see the film — besides the drama, intrigue and sex, of course — and why it's important for couples to seek help and talk about their relationships.

Check out our exclusive interview with the cast and author of Addicted below! The film hits theaters on October 10.
