Tracy Morgan made a rare appearance in public on Wednesday, and was spotted outside a New Jersey post office by TMZ. The comedian, who suffered serious injuries in a fatal car crash this past April, was on his feet — with the aid of a walker — and in good spirits.
The 30 Rock star was friendly with fans and onlookers, telling them, "I'm fighting every day." The comedian still has a very long road to recovery, his lawyer has stated, and is in intensive rehabilitation therapy. Morgan is suing Wal-Mart, the company that owned the delivery truck that caused the six-vehicle pileup, for an undisclosed sum. Morgan's lawyer has stated that the accident not only nearly cost the comedian his life, but might have put an end to his stand-up career.
For now, we're very happy to see Morgan out and about again. You can see him in Chris Rock's Top Five, which opens on Friday, December 12.
