Kylie Jenner is the latest celebrity to cross the line into blackface territory. The reality star is catching heat for a photo she posted to Instagram of herself from a fashion shoot in which her skin looks visibly darker and with a metallic tinge.

Many of the star's nearly 20 million followers immediately started bashing Jenner for going blackface for the shoot. She took down the post and replaced it with another image, writing, "This is a black light and neon lights people lets all calm down."

The 17-year-old also took to Twitter to clarify her original caption. "So just got the time to head on social media lol.. The photographer used a black light & neon lights for those photos," she began, adding, "Yes, In another world I wish I could have pink hair & blue eyes & covered in sparkles. But in this world I'm happy w the way God created me. Happy Easter everybody."

This isn't the first time Jenner has drawn attention for altering her looks. Her plump pout and increasingly curvaceous figure have sparked rumors of plastic surgery, but Jenner has consistently denied the rumors, attributing her changing looks to a natural growth spurt. is your #1 source for Black celebrity news, photos, exclusive videos and all the latest in the world of hip hop and R&B music.
