Things took a turn towards the ugly between Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom on Wednesday. According to a report by TMZ yesterday, the troubled NBA player ambushed his ex-wife outside of a Beverly Hills exercise studio early in the morning, as Kardashian was heading in for her workout.

Now, Odom is vehemently denying the claims, saying the meeting was pre-planned and that he's hurt and confused as to why Khloe hasn't come forward with the truth. He also claims TMZ has been racist in their portrayal of him.

"I'm not the person they're trying to make me out to be, whoever's doing it," an agitated Odom told TMZ. In the original report, Odom was said to have confronted his ex outside a Beverly Hills SoulCycle studio, and then began verbally assaulting her after she refused to speak with him. "Get off of me, get off of me," she reportedly screamed. "Stop! Stop!" According to the site, an eyewitness asked if Khloe wanted them to call the police, at which point Lamar screamed, "You're not going to call the cops on Lamar Odom."

"How did you know I was here?" Kardashian demanded to know. She then got in her car and drove away, abandoning her workout plans. According to sources, the reality star changed her number in the past few weeks because Odom would not stop calling her.

All lies, says Odom. "Nobody got followed, nobody got hassled, nobody got harassed, nobody got grabbed on. None of that." He maintains that Kardashian asked him to meet her there and said, "If it happens again, I will air everything out....the dog has to bite back." He continues, "Y'all have discredited me, beat me down, took my confidence, took everything away from me."

"I know what your company's about," he tells the TMZ cameraman. "I know what y'all doing to brothers. I know what you're doing to rappers. You want them beefing. Y'all don't do Leo [DiCaprio] like that. You don't do Brad [Pitt] like that."

Just last week, Kardashian opened up about her failed marriage in the August/September issue of Complex: "Lamar is genuinely one of the best people I've ever met, and everyone says that when they meet him. I think Lamar's going to always be that person [for me] but that's what made it so special," she told the magazine. "I definitely miss it, and there's times I'll get so sentimental and so sad, but this had to happen for some reason. I'll figure it out over time, someone will give me that answer eventually."

Kardashian and Odom's divorce was finalized in July, and she has since begun dating NBA player James Harden. is your No. 1 source for Black celebrity news, photos, exclusive videos and all the latest in the world of hip hop and R&B music.
