Waka Flocka Flame's Non-Apology for Transgender Comments

He's sorry about one part of his hateful speech.

Waka Flocka Flame burned some bridges with his comments about the transgender community last week, and despite issuing a sort-of apology for his remarks, he doesn't seem that sorry.

During a visit to The Breakfast Club, he had a lot to say about Caitlyn Jenner. "I ain't saying nothing against like a Bruce Jenner, you follow me? You are who you are when God made you, not who you became after he did," Flame said on the air. "That's how I just feel. You rebuking God. God ain't put them feelings in you, that's the devil playing tricks on your mind. That's a test from God."

Now, he appears to be standing by his comments –– despite incurring a backlash on social media –– with one exception. He apologized for using the word "evil" to describe transgender folks in his rant, and expressed that he has "no problem with transgender people."

Unfortunately, the rapper then added, "I simply feel we need to be careful what our children see as 'sensationalized,'" and, "I'm not a fan of transgenders marketed as a superhero."
