Will Smith may have saved the earth from alien invasion time and again on the big screen, but now he's ready to step up to fight off an even bigger threat: Donald Trump.
Appearing on CBS's Sunday Morning over the weekend, Smith says he's thinking about dreams bigger than Hollywood, thanks in part to Trump's hateful rhetoric. “I realized that the dream was too small...I realized that there was no way that I was put here just to be a movie star,” he said.
“If people keep saying all the crazy kinds of stuff they’ve been saying on the news lately about walls and Muslims,” Smith said, referring to Trump’s proposed ban on Muslims, “they're going to force me into the political arena.”
