Kanye West messed with the wrong one. The rap icon, who made Wendy Williams his new target with an alleged diss track in which he raps that she's really a "dude in a wig," got it right back from the talk show host, who burned 'Ye on her show Thursday morning without even mentioning his name.
"I've been around for approximately 30 years, with a hot mic and an attentive audience, thank God," Williams told her viewers. "Because of the things that I say and what I do, some of the greatest people in music have mentioned me in their music, which to me, in a sick way, I consider it an honor... to be mentioned by Jay Z, Mariah Carey and Tupac, most recently Rick Ross."
She continued, "What I will say is I'm not changing. I'm here for my regular watchers. And if people want to come out of their skin and get all in their feelings, then I'm here to continue reporting!"
Williams then chalks up Kanye's recent antics to one big publicity stunt. "It's tough to sell music these days so people do have to resort to stunts," she reasoned. "So, you keep stunting, and I'll be right here."
We're still keeping our fingers crossed for the Wests to bury the hatchet on The Wendy Williams Show (if Amber Rose could do it, why can't Wendy?), but in the mean time, revisit this headline-making beef that started it all with BET Breaks, below:
