Making Moves: Abraham Attah and Zendaya Are Doing Big Things

The young Hollywood stars have major news to share.

Published March 10, 2016

This year is shaping up to be a major one for Beasts of No Nation breakout star Abraham Attah and new CoverGirl Zendaya. The young stars are making major moves, both literally and figuratively.

According to Shadow and Act, Attah, 14, is making the big move from his homeland of Ghana to the United States thanks to the folks at Netflix. Once he settles in the States, the home of his hit streaming film will award him a scholarship to attend school.

This will be major for the rising star as he will attract more potential roles being a U.S. resident. He received major critical acclaim for his performance in the film alongside Idris Elba and was even awarded Best Actor at the 2016 Independent Spirit Awards.

Making moves in a more figurative sense is Hollywood "it girl" Zendaya. After just landing a major contract with CoverGirl, the 19-year-old has earned a major role in the upcoming Spider-Man reboot. Deadline reports Sony and Marvel Studios have cast the actress/singer in a key role in the film, playing a character named Michelle. No further details have emerged on Michelle's connection to Peter Parker, the lead in the film, yet.

Congrats to Abraham and Zendaya on their great news!
