Tracy Morgan has been through a lot these past couple of years. After a horrific six car crash that left him in a coma for eight days and killed his best friend James "Jimmy Mack" McNair, Morgan nearly lost his will to live. In a revealing interview with Rolling Stone, Morgan opens up about just how bad things got.

"Emotionally, it’s hard for me to deal with," Morgan said of the accident. "I asked everybody to be there that night. I have to live with that. But I had to forgive myself. I know Jimmy would want it like that." But forgiving himself wasn't easy. "I was in a very dark place," Morgan recalled. "I was sitting right here, contemplating suicide."

Now, he's counting his blessings. That includes reviving his career with a slew of film roles and his first standup tour in years, and most importantly, thanking God for his family. "I look forward to my wife getting pregnant again," Morgan says. "I look forward to my daughter going to nursery school. I'm here. I get to see all of that."
