Here's Your Chance to See Samuel L. Jackson Kick Butt in The Hateful Eight

The film comes out on DVD and Blu-Ray today.

Quentin Tarantino rubs a lot of people the wrong way, but it's hard to deny that he's a master filmmaker at the peak of his game. His latest film, The Hateful Eight, is an epic showdown between a former Army major (Samuel L. Jackson) and a racist bounty hunter (Kurt Russell) who are trapped in a cabin during a snowstorm in the immediate aftermath of the Civil War. If that's not enough tension for you, everybody's trying to kill everybody. And by the end of the film, (almost) everybody dies.
The film boasts a number of great performances, but none better than Jackson's. If you missed the three-hour extravaganza in the theater (in its full 70mm glory), here's your chance to see what all the fuss is about. The Hateful Eight comes out on DVD and Blu-Ray today, with special features that include a behind-the-scenes featurette and an explanation of 70mm narrated by Jackson.

Despite angering many with its liberal use of the n-word, The Hateful Eight is one of a few films that have been changing the narrative of race in cinema lately.
