Did Grace Gealey and Trai Byers Just Majorly Shade Their Empire Co-Stars?

More proof that all is not well behind the scenes.

Published April 16, 2016

Congratulations are in order for Empire stars Grace Gealey and Trai Byers — the couple tied the knot this past Thursday on Grand Cayman Island! TMZ copped some photos of the beach ceremony, details about the reception (steak and lobster for dinner, hip hop and disco on the ones and twos) and even got their hands on a seating chart.

And that's where things got interesting: no table for the Lyon family. That's right, Gealey and Byers' co-stars were nowhere in sight at the wedding, and apparently weren't even invited for the big day. While it's entirely possible the newlyweds wanted to keep their wedding a paparazzi-free affair (though, it seems that didn't turn out to be the case anyway), the absense of their "TV family" is notable because of rumors that Byers is unhappy on the show and angling to leave.

Of course, Byers has denied the rumors that he's outgrown his character (Lucious Lyon's eldest son Andre), but the lack of any Empire representation at the wedding suggests otherwise.

Anyway, it's their party and they'll shade if they want to.
