How long were they friends?:
Kelly Rowland was introduced to Beyonce Knowles by former Destiny's Child member, LaTavia Roberson in the early 1990s. After several group departures, Kelly and Beyonce remain the two remaining original members of the group.
What tore them apart?:
The two may be apart professionally after the decision for the group to disband in 2004 for the individual members to pursue solo projects, but they still remain the best of friends.

More Destiny's Child albums and tour dates. You may not be able to hear and see the ladies togethers, but you can support their solo projects and old CDs.

Kelly is the Mary Wilson to Beyonce's Diana Ross. Beyonce has remained in the spotlight since leaving the group. Whether recording top-selling CDs, co-starring in Oscar-nominated films ("Dreamgirls) or as one-half of hip-hop top couple (with Jay-Z), it's great to be "B." Kelly has stayed busy with guest spots on TV and film roles and recording new music. She released a new CD, "Ms. Kelly," earlier this year. At some point, "Destiny's Child may come back, you never know.
