Kim Kardashian has had tantrums over her magazine covers in the past, but this recent incident is no laughing matter. The Armenian-American star is livid over Cosmo’s choice to use her photo on the cover of Turkish Cosmo, the country that committed genocide on the Armenian people.

The cover girl did an international shoot, which she knew would be sourced to various worldwide Cosmos for print. “Kim Kardashian is one of our favorite cover girls,” Cosmo replied to TMZ’s questioning of the incident. We were thrilled to have the opportunity to photograph her for the Cosmopolitan editions worldwide.”

However, despite the fact that Cosmo sources claim Kim was well aware of the location of the international mags, Kim K’s sources tell TMZ that Turkey was never mentioned. Kim, who has been very vocal about the genocide, would have never allowed her pic to be used for the Turkish cover, reports the gossip site. To make matters worse, April 24th is the day Armenians commemorate the genocide.
