A few months ago, talk show host Sherri Shepherd sat in utter disbelief as she watched her cohost, Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s intense daily work out on their show “The View.” Everyone wanted to know what the new mother had done to get back into tip top shape so quickly. After watching Hasselbeck complete what seemed like an impossible workout, Shepherd asked, “So what can I do if I don’t want to do all of that?”
As always, Shepherd made us laugh but she was serious that day. It looked bleak that a rigorous gym visit would be part of her daily schedule. Things have changed. Now, the mother of six-year-old Jeffrey, is prepping for her second marriage. Not only does she want to look amazing on her wedding day she also wants to be healthy for another pregnancy. The 44-year-old has diabetes and has struggled with fertility, according to People magazine.
"I have to lose as much weight as possible for me to be healthy to carry [a baby],” she said. "I go at seven in the morning, four times a week to see my trainer. She's doing a lot of interval training with me, and these things called suicides. Those are really tough." Of course, with a name like that. But sometimes it hurts to be beautiful.
