Rihanna swapped her long, honey brown locks for a platinum blonde bob in her video for “You Da One” to top off a look that’s equally turned up.
The starlet continues to flaunt her penchant for mixing edgy pieces with a dash of tomboy and a dash of sexy. The first pictures from the London set show her in a look that was inspired by the 1971 Stanley Kubrick film A Clockwork Orange. There’s the bowler hat, dramatic bottom eye lashes, suspenders and cane that give a nod to the cult classic’s character “Alex DeLarge.” She added her own spice to the costume with a tight, white tank, butt cheek-exposing jean shorts, graphic tights from Leggings by Boy London and white sneakers. Hate or love her style, one thing's for sure: it’s never stale! The video was directed by Melina Matsoukas, who also directed Rihanna’s “We Found Love” mini-movie, which drew controversy for its imagery. Rihanna’s currently topping the charts with her sixth studio album, Talk that Talk, and has been nominated for four Grammys, including “Album of the Year” for last year’s Loud.
