Mo'Nique Shares Her Workout Routine

She took to Twitter to dish out motivation and photos.

Last year on her late night show, Mo'Nique told her audience how much she wanted to slim down her figure and maintain a healthier weight. She initially lost 45 pounds and went from weighing 262 pounds to 217, but to the actress that was only the beginning.

"I want to get to 180," she told audience members. "That's an amazing weight for me. I'm still a thick girl but it's a healthy weight."

Well once her show was halted last July, she has had the time to keep working towards her goal and motivate the rest of us along the way. In an interview with Black Voices last year, Mo'Nique said that she wakes up at 5:30 A.M., heads to the gym, and works with her trainer for an hour. She keeps the routines fun by mixing up her workouts with weight training, boxing, football drills, sprinting, pull-ups and jogging and has been sharing snapshots of her workouts along with brief words of encouragement.

"Treat YOU like the special person YOU are," Mo'Nique tweeted along with a photo of her powering through crunches on a mat.

"Create your own miracle," she wrote with a Twitpic of her holding a weight bar attached.

And to prove that getting fit can be a blast, a photo of her dancing with a huge smile on her face was shared with the words, "Doing my best dance moves.
