Obama Campaign Releases Patriotic Polish Sets

A nail polish change you can believe in.

With eyes on the next election, President Barack Obama’s team is charting into new territory to help wrangle small donors by way of a patriotic polish set.

The Chicago branch of the President’s campaign teamed up with Richard Blanch of Le Métier de Beauté and spent $10,000 to produce the sets, according to financial disclosure reports released March 20. The polish sets retail for $40 a pop and include three 4.0ml bottles: Red-y To Win (“a delightfully deep red”), Bo Blue (“a shimmering sapphire blue”) and Victory White (“a soft, clean white”). All three colors come in a simple black carrying case and each item is stamped with the POTUS’ horizon logo from 2008.

The colors first made an appearance as a part of a "Runway to Win” line of campaign swag that was presented at a February event in New York. Other items from the collection, that can be purchased from the campaign’s online store, featured colorful bags by top designers including Vera Wang, Diane von Furstenberg and Tory Burch, graphic shirts created by Beyoncé and her mom Tina Knowles and brands including Diddy’s Sean John as well as scarves and pins.
