Russell Simmons has teamed up with designer Joseph Abboud to relaunch his Argyleculture menswear collection this fall. The line, which will target the "urban graduate," has already seen two previous failed partnerships since it launched in 2008.

“Finding the right match is tough,” Simmons told WWD. “Sometimes it works, but most of the time it doesn’t. But this is Joseph Abboud.”

The clothes are preppy, but edgy and sophisticated with argyles, plaids and strong colors present through the sportswear line.

“This is like preppy on steroids,” Abboud told WWD of the collection. “There are a lot of preppy brands out there and no one does traditional preppy better than Ralph Lauren. But this is more irreverent. The colors are bright and the styling is aggressive. Traditional preppy has rigid boundaries and this pushes the envelope.” always gives you the latest fashion and beauty trends, tips and news.
