Kanye West to Release Capsule Collection for A.P.C.

Kanye West to Release Capsule Collection for A.P.C.

W magazine hints that a men's line of jeans, T-shirts and hoodies is in the works for July.

Kanye West was pretty upfront on several topics during his interview with W magazine while spending time in Paris. The rapper was in the City of Lights working on his Yeezus album where writer Christopher Bagley noticed the slight animosity that existed between West and his girlfriend's mom, Kris Jenner, his love for Kim Kardashian, and his upcoming business endeavors. West not only revealed that he'll be the creative director for an upcoming Jetsons movie, but the article hinted that he might be releasing a capsule collection for French brand A.P.C.

Even though his first women's fashion collection was met with poor reviews while his second was praised, West enjoyed his debut line more.

"The first collection was way better than the second," Kanye told W. "It was more artful. It was 30 collections in one. It just takes time for me to slow down and think like a normal person."

He does acknowledge that veterans in the game have more license to experiment and that he needs to "somehow put out something that says, 'I look sensible!'"

This is when Bagley hints at what might be next for the rapper by writing, "That might be accomplished by his new men's capsule collection of jeans, T-shirts and hoodies for a hip French brand to be unveiled in July."

The rumor mill has already figured out that the "hip French brand" is probably A.P.C. Not only has Yeezy been spending beaucoup time with friend and brand founder Jean Touitou, but the two have previously mentioned wanting to collaborate on a collection. Could this be their big moment?
