Tyga Dishes with Coveteur About Expanding Last Kings Fashion Line

The rapper is opening up a flagship store in Los Angeles.

Tyga recently had a chat with The Coveteur about his growing fashion Last Kings, which will soon have a flagship store in Los Angeles. The collection of graphic tees, jeans, hats and other streetwear was inspired by his love of Egyptian culture mixed in with influences from hip hop and Los Angeles culture and Tyga assures this isn't a case of a celeb slapping his name on someone else's project.

"Last Kings is about carrying yourself like royalty. What we're doing is not some artist attaching his name to some screen-printed shirts. We're really running a warehouse with cut-and-sew products. Even our t-shirts are custom silhouettes—not blanks. We have everything from high quality denim to socks. So it's the real deal," he says. "Our customers are the trendsetters, not necessarily the people who are just buying the stuff they see in the mall. They are the people who like streetwear and high fashion and want to maintain some individuality."

Tyga went on to list some of the projects in the works and where fans will be able to shop all things Last Kings.

"We're opening a flagship store on Melrose in Los Angeles this month and already talking about expanding to other cities. We're open to collabs if it feels right. We've kicked around ideas with the Been Trill guys about a collab so that could be cool. We'll see!"
